Another February Friday Finish

This puff quilt was made for Island Batik‘s February challenge.

I like the back as much as the front!

This quilt was made with fabric from the Fruit and Veggies (designed by Kathy Engle) collection. This collection is available at Creekside Quilts in Oregon. (BTW – they carry a LOT of Island Batik fabric!)

It was pieced with Pieced with Aurifil Thread #2625 (Arctic Ice), Bound with Aurifil Thread #2890 (Very Dark Grass Green) and Schmetz Needles: Microtex Chrome 80/12.

You can read more about how I made this quilt HERE.

Two opportunities to win!

First: Go  HERE to Island Batik’s blog and follow the Rafflecopter prompts.

Second: I am giving away over 1 yard of fabric from the Fruits and Veggies collection. Leave a comment on my blog stating what you like about this collection and what you might make with the fabric if you were to win. This is open to anyone in Canada or the USA. I will use a number generator to randomly pick the winner when the blog hop is completed.

I was Featured!

Jennifer from Inquiring Quilter, Andrée from Quilting and Learning, and Kelly from My Quilt Infatuation all featured the Lone Star Quilt I posted last week! You can read more about this quilt HERE.

One who sleeps under a quilt is covered by LOVE!

Happy Quilting!

  1. What a pretty puff quilt! I love the greens in this collection. They shimmer with light and together they are so gorgeous! Thanks for sharing your quilt on my weekly show and tell, Wednesday Wait Loss.

  2. Oh, I love the puff quilt! It looks so cozy and snuggly. The colours in the batiks are vibrant. I love gardening as much as quilting, so I think I would make some placemats out of the fabrics, since they would encourage my grandkids to ‘eat their veggies’.
